Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-RAKSA(Chapter EX-Resolve)

It was three months after everything was ended. People who were evacuated away from the Gulq fishing village returned and the fishing business continued as usual, but Mifrent and Rakion could not go back to help in producing official reports sold in various versions.
“Why we need to create so much versions of these? There are laconic, public, investigative, academic and complete versions of the reports. I suspect that the government are short of money and use it as a money maker,” Mifrent and Rakion were carrying boxes of books into a bull cart.

“This is because if we produce only one version which includes everything it is going to be expensive. The complete version is priced at 3500 Gleds, whereas the laconic version only costs 100 Gleds. Yeah, the complete version has to be printed in seven volumes in a box anyway,” Carkaos answered them while helping them out.

“Seven…that’s a little thick for a report,” Harion felt awkward with Carkaos’s answer.

“That includes witness photos, related academic publications, commentary from local and foreign people, battle data of all fights and so on. If they were made into one book it would be around 12000 pages,” Carkaos continued with his babbling.

“No wondered our boss said in a press conference that the complete version would have literally everything that the readers need,” Harion giggled.

“Yeah, but we are lucky that we don’t get troubles over it. I heard from a friend that in several countries such work can cause riots if the workers creating the reports did not get proper pay,” The cart was full and they moved to another cart.

“I see. Like operation KIMIA? Perhaps making reports is the reason why Zetta and Yocta could not come and aid us. But then, it is still a lucky thing that we get Muranyl and Cephyone from the intergalactic federation. At least they helped a lot by compiling similar cases that happened in other places with their reports,”

“Yeah, there is a special bundle of complete versions of both operation KIMIA and this case. But when I will get to sign it myself?” Rakion started to daydreaming and accidentally fell onto the ground.

“According to a letter sent to us, it’s another two months from now. You will have a duel against him too,” Harion helped a few buffalo cart riders to park them.

“Yeah, I wondered how Gireon and Neiflei went along. It’s two weeks since they disappeared from Gulq,” Mifrent suddenly thought of something.

“Let’s just say that Gireon is a moron. Just tell her that he does not love her and be done with it,” Rakion told him monotonously, mimicking the exact way Gireon was speaking.

“I don’t think so. He might not be able to feel love, but to devote to someone does not need a soul,” Mifrent pinched his face. At the meantime, on the plains north to the town,

“Are you sure of this?” Neiflei watched Gireon walking away from her.

“Yes. I don’t know why, but I wanted to go other places and fight against any threats to humanity. After I lost my soul, I don’t feel of living in peaceful life anymore,” Gireon took out his titanium sword.

“Can I go along with you?” Neiflei took out a titanium pearl wand.

“Please, you are unfit for that sort of lifestyle. You will be stressed over constant fighting,”

“Or you don’t want me to stay with you?”

“Yes,”

“Why?”

“I am soulless, which means I won’t have any emotions. You will feel better if you use your affections on someone else,”

“You don’t understand, do you?” Neifeli suddenly teleported to him and kissed him out of nowhere.

“It’s useless. I don’t feel anything,”

“So you really being soulless…it’s okay anyway. I know what you exactly think. You think that people lack souls will never be able to have emotions, feelings and passions, so likes like you should be left alone because they will never be able to reciprocate anything, right?”

“Then, why you are still want to follow me? We can do things as normal people do, but will you be happy with that?”

“I don’t care if it is with you. You know how I feel towards you, right?”

“I know, but I don’t feel it. You are loving an empty shell and a blood lusty berserker. Are you still want to continue with that so called feeling of yours?”

“I will and I’ll prove to you that you can be at least, thinking me as your responsibility,”

“Responsibility…I’ll take that. But I am going to the capital. You better be well prepared,”

“I am already well prepared, but don’t you feel guilty of not saying goodbye to your former comrades?”

“No. It’s better to leave them in peace rather than make then sad to see me goodbye. Let’s go,” Back to the others, after 4 hours,

“It’s very tiring, but I guess those folks at the capital would make good use to them,” Carkaos was looking at the buffalo carts moving away.

“Yeah. It is another dark spot of this country’s history, but at least it is not a true tragedy,” Harion walked away and Carkaos quickly followed him. Mifrent and Rakion then walked towards the fountain, where it was rebuild. There was no one around. The shops were closed. They were then sat down on it.

“Rakion, do you still angry over me?”

“No. Being separated from you and Harlion’s mind manipulation made me more insecure and afraid that I am doomed to be alone. With everything’s cleared up and the release of reports, I get a bunch of new friends and most importantly, I get to be with you again,”

“I see. But, don’t you feel that something is missing between us?”

“Maybe. But I do wonder why there are no one here with shops even closed. This smells very fishy,”

“Wait…speaking of that….” They turned around and saw Tuelo and Vertalf throwing cream pies at them.

“You dirty lovers!” Rakion punched them back at them and they were covered in cream instead. “Now clean up, bastards!”

“I’m sorry for this kid’s….” Mifrent tried to cover him, but,

“I am twenty motherfucking three years old!” He shouted at her and stormed off. Then, they started to feel anxious.

“There is a new den of criminals, right?” Vertalf asked Mifrent.

“Yes. A crime gang from the capital called phantom muskets had arrived here a few days ago and robbed a lot of travelers. They made a few huts in the forest 5 kilometers from here,” Mifrent nodded and walked away.

“Damn, this is supposed to be a surprise wedding proposal!” Tuelo yelled furiously. Everything is in peace now….
Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-RAKSA(Chapter 30-The Last Ordeal)

“This is the first time that the savage berserker mode did not made me collapse. Perhaps the energy I absorbed was too much that it was used up to sustain me when I leave the mode,” Ortla and Rakion stood at the center, but suddenly weird shaking sounds were heard.

“We must be quick. Harlion must have set up something,” Ortla stabbed his lyn onto the ground and a huge magic circle appeared on the ground. The handle of lyn was shining brightly and a pink colored spark was seen struck up from it like a string. “This will take some time. Oh, this should be my final farewell to you,” At the meantime, outside of the mayor’s monument, the mercury towers were all disappeared while the bodies, human or hollows which tied to the towers stopped attacking. Then, shaking sounds were heard and the dark purple barrier surrounding the mayor’s monument turned white instead of disappearing.

“What the hell Rakion is going to do?” Mifrent ran towards the monument, but Gireon and Neiflei stopped her and sealed her inside a wooden box.

“The destruction of the monument requires life sacrifice. A mayor died for this and perhaps it is fated that Rakion will follow his footsteps,” Gireon sighed while could only watch from afar. Tuelo and Vertalf who were trying to destroy the barrier could not even leave a scratch on it. Back to inside, after 10 minutes,

“Now the process is finished. I’ve done what I’m supposed to do. It’s time to end my life,” Ortla held the “string” and closed his eyes.

“Why?” Rakion walked close to him and floated midair.

“Harlion was going to blew this town up by firing a laser blast as large as this town. He set the spell to trigger when he dies, so to stop it someone has to die too,” Ortla did not open his eyes even when speaking to Rakion.

“But you can’t die yet,” Rakion held the string too.

“Why?” Rakion’s words surprised him.

“Because your research must continue with other elements. If your research is a success, we will be able to use more magic for the benefit of everyone!” Rakion shouted at him while closing his eyes.

“This will be the job of my successor,”

“No. You are needed for that,”

“But how about you, no, Mifrent?”

“She will understand that this is necessary,”

“Are you sure?” At outside, a letter was dropped onto the wooden box where Mifrent was sealed. Gireon opened it and reads:

“Dear Mifrent,
I know this is very selfish and I don’t want this from happen, but I have to use my life to prevent a laser blast from decimating the entire town. Please live on and find another man whom you can be happy with. I’ll protect you from the afterlife.

Love,
Rakion Kalsa”

“Mifrent, promise me that you’ll won’t run away from us,” Neiflei unsealed her and handed her the letter. She read it and knelt on the ground crying.

“Rakion…farewell then,” Back into the monument,

“You two…death is should not be your choice,” Several hollows suddenly held the string a few seconds before a light ball engulfed them and became larger and larger. Then, it suddenly exploded and the monument collapsed with the hollows were turned into dusts. Outside the monument,

“Run! Run! The monument is collapsing!” Tuelo and Vertalf shouted as they heard sounds akin to building collapsing. Everyone ran away for their lives. Lines were seen raising up from the white barrier. After that, a magic circle appeared in the sky and enlarged, much to the horror of everyone.

“I guess…we failed after all, huh?” Carkaos and Harion who saw this from the spot where the fountain was destroyed sealed themselves using pyramidal barrier. Suddenly, the magic circle stopped expanding and looking from its size only the monument would be destroyed. Positron, antiproton and antineutron blasts were fired at the barrier which shattered and turned everything on its way into dusts. After one minute, the magic circle was disappeared and a crater was seen at the ground.

“It’s Rakion and Ortla. What should we do? It’s only two of us,” An officer who walked towards the crater saw their bodies and yelled at her friend.

“Carry Ortla first. He might just collapsed,” They carried Ortla away very slowly. A few minutes later, a lot of people walked towards the crater and saw Rakion still inside the crater. Muranyl jumped into it and checked if Rakion was still alive.

“Maybe I should surprise her,” Muranyl thought in his mind. He then carried Rakion’s body out from the crater and handed it to Mifrent. “Rakion is dead. You might want to bury him somewhere,” She carried the body Pieta style while crying. Tears dropped onto his body. As she walks, she was too sad to notice that his fingers and toes were moving.

“This scent…Mi…fre…nt….” Rakion suddenly opened his eyes and feeling weak. He was then dropped onto the ground and hugged tightly.
“You fool! Do you know how worried I am? I…I….” She hugged him on her shoulders while walking towards a giggling Muranyl.

“Please don’t play pranks like this, Muranyl Kizrai! I’ll report this to your superiors!” Cephyone suddenly kicked his butt from the back. “Sorry from making such a trouble to you,”

“Yeah, you hear that, you asshole!” Mifrent shouted at him. At the meantime, at the cemetery,

“What should we do about him? He is indeed alive,”

“Let’s carry him to the hospital, shall we?”

“Shouldn’t you arrest me first, ms. officers?” Ortla suddenly woke up and stood up while knelt onto the ground, putting his hands on his back. He was then arrested and carried to a local cell, but on his way,

“Looks like things doesn’t go out like what we expected, huh?” Ortla laughed at Rakion.

“Yeah, but I have a feel that someone aided us, but anyway, goodbye,” Rakion bowed to him before the officers carried him away. Rakion then threw a piece of bronze coin into the crater.

“Rebuild!” The mayor’s monument was reformed. Everyone gave a round of applause. The crisis is finally ended….
Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-RAKSA(Chapter 29-Final Battle)

“Watch out, Ortla. He is a very cunning person,” Rakion fired a laser blade at the white colored sword and fired another at Harlion. Noticing this, Harlion absorbed the laser blade directed at him while holding the sword again and swung it at another laser blade, only to be intercepted by teleporting Ortla who took the sword and stabbed it right at the white sword before teleporting himself onto the ground.

“What is this foolish trick…damn you….” Laser beams slowly covered his cloak and then his skin. He screamed louly, but soon the laser beams were disappeared and a laser orb appeared below him. It exploded and emitted a shower of laser beams at them. The white sword then lost its color, revealing its actual design.

“Just a generic sword, I must say. But can your body sustain that strength?” They absorbed the beams using their weapons and stabbed them onto the ground. A laser blast then struck down onto Harlion, which he blocked by pointing his sword up upon crashing onto the ground, forming an umbrella shaped barrier.

“He can, Ortla. Some of the energy he drained from me went to himself. He surely having a good use on it,” The weapons stayed stabbed on the ground while absorbing aura from their surroundings. Rakion then took out a pair of handguns and fired at Rakion, only to be blocked by a spherical barrier surrounding him. Oddly, none of both barrier showed signs of weakening. Then, suddenly Ortla’s face turned pale.

“He is doing what we do…and…he must expected this all along. Rakion, we have to be more creative than usual,” Ortla took out a red pill and threw it at Harlion’s barrier. The pill exploded and the barrier surrounding him was exploded. Rakion continued firing, but he was unaffected at all, much to his horror.

“There is a reason why I stole more mercury that what Ortla wanted to use in his experiments. I use the results of his research to refine my cloak. I can destroy you immediately, but I prefer to torture you as much as possible to ensure I can erase you two without any opposition. But I guess you won’t stop too, so I think it’s time for a new trick,” The ground where their weapons were stabbed onto were exploded and throwing them away, but did not injure their owners. The laser blast bombarding Harlion was then stopped. Suddenly, while they dashed backwards and caught their weapon, Their bodies turned into titanium hollows while dusts flew towards Harlion.

“What? So this is the power of magically enhanced mercury?” Ortla was shocked, but he continued attacking by launching his sword blade at Harlion and “turning” it into a griffin. A piece of cubic activated charcoal suddenly dropped onto the griffin and it was burning. Rakion switched to a titanium trident and threw it in projectile motion. A dolphin was formed and fell onto him, but,

“I’ll let you threw everything you have at me. Let’s see how your psyche can handle these terror!” Both the dolphin and griffin was blocked by a spherical barrier made from one magic circle, turning them back to their weapons. Instead of making them afraid, they punched the ground and the barrier was shattered.

“You can’t terrorize our minds and psyches as long as you wish!” The broken pieces were teleported back to them and absorbed to regain their bodies. The weapons were teleported back to their hands while they dashed towards Harlion and launched cross shaped slash wave. A pair of magic circle appeared left and right of Harlion and multi colored energy beams were emitted at them, but they were all reflected upwards by the slash waves.

“But this does not change the fact that even with you two’s power combined I am unbeatable. Plus, I can get special reinforcements outside of this monument,” The slash waves broke the magic circles, but another pair appeared and repelled them back. They jumped over the slash waves, but a positron beam struck down on both of them each send them crashing onto the ground. They stood up, but their legs suddenly sealed and could not move.

“Don’t be too sure about that!” A hemispherical barrier filled with hydrochloric acid surrounded him and reacted with mercury in Harlion and his cloak. The acid was slowly turned into mercury (I) chloride crystals, but they were soon disappeared, being absorbed back into Harlion. Thunder balls were seen surrounded him as he laughed maniacally.

“Well, that’s a nice attempt, but too bad that instead of weakening me, you made me even more powerful! Take this!” Thunder sparks struck everywhere and Ortla could not block them, but Rakion was unaffected by that. His eyes turned black with its pupil turned red and flashed. His veins was seen on his skin. His trident was burning with brown flames.

“This is…Rakion, good luck,” Ortla teleported himself away. Rakion threw his trident which turned into a charging buffalo, but the thunder balls surrounded Harlion combined into a large thunder ball and emitted thunder blasts at it. Rakion’s eyes were flashing more rapidly and the buffalo dashed slowly through the thunder blasts.

“So you showed what people here called ‘savage berserker mode’? This is still not enough to kill me,” The thunder ball was enlarged and the buffalo was disappeared as it was hit by larger and stronger blasts. The trident was then dropped onto the ground. Harlion bombarded Rakion with the thunder blasts, but he was still unaffected. His fists turned yellow and gave brighter and brighter glows.

“Do you really wished death so much? Don’t ever regret whatever you said!” Rakion punched a blast bombarding at him and a tiger thrust through Harlion. The thunder sparks around them and the thunder ball in front of Harlion were disappeared as he was falling onto the ground and turned into dusts. Ortla then appeared in front of Rakion who turned back normal.

“It appeared that this fight did not made you collapse like what rumors say,” Ortla patted his head. “Let’s finish this. This monument must be destroyed,” Their job is not done yet….
Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-RAKSA(Chapter 28-Friend or Foe)

“You thought that this will work? Don’t be too sure about this,” Rakion threw his mining axe and a whale was formed. The snake quickly leaped upwards in an attempt to strike the whale from above, but a spray of water made it disappear while the stingray was “devoured” and destroyed into pieces.

“I am very sure. Even if you destroyed Mifrent’s anchor,” A dragon was formed from his chain and dived down at the whale, which made it disappeared while restoring the anchor. The dragon then flew straight at Rakion. He then teleported his mining axe back to his hands and stabbed the dragon’s head, which made it disappeared.

“And don’t forget you are fighting against two enemies at once,” The chain suddenly spun rapidly and broke the mining axe. Being caught off guard, the chain thrust through him. He then collapsed onto the ground for a few seconds before standing up again. The chain then attempted to thrust through him again, but,

“I know,” He caught the chain and threw it at the anchor, destroying both of them. “It is you who not realizing that it is not just Rakion’s fighting data, but both Rakion’s and my fused together!” Thunder sparks struck down onto them, which they quickly dashed towards him to dodge them. They through that they could jump over him to made the thunder sparks struck through him, but,

“Now I understand why, but if you think you win by now, you are wrong!” The thunder sparks were reflected through a barrier above his head, striking through them. They quickly turned around and the ground was on fire, but soon it was turned into ice for a few seconds before slowly turned into water and later steam.

“I’ll embrace your powers,” Mifrent suddenly walked towards Rakion with steam covering her body for a few seconds before wind blew it away. The constant wind preventing steam from reaching close to her. “Harlion, leave Rakion’s body now!” She hugged him and the steam were flowed towards them. The sheer heat flowing into them made them collapsed onto the ground. One minute later, an octahedral mercury crystal was seen on the ground.

“My first plan has failed, but this means the second plan starts,” The mercury crystal transformed into Harlion in his dark green cloak. Rakion’s body was turned into dusts, leaving Rakion permanently in hollow form. This angered the hollow and the dusts flowed towards him. Suddenly, Ortla appeared inside and everyone was shocked.

“I ran away, thinking that I can get away with my sins, but since that my sins gets amplified by you, Harlion, I’ll atone it myself!” He took out his lyn. “Mifrent, the town needs you now. The hollow attacks in the town became more intense,” Mifrent was teleported away. “Rakion, what he destroyed isn’t unrecoverable,” The dusts suddenly covered its body and it collapsed onto the ground.

“So you decided to off me yourself? Have you ever forget what I did to you before?” A spherical barrier surrounded Ortla, but before Harlion could do anything, it was shattered and its pieces were teleported to Rakion’s hollow body. This angered him and he took out his lyn. Ortla then switched to a ergnisis, a platinum wand with a titanium sword blade attached to its handle.

“Of course. And I managed to free myself from those tricks of yours. I thought that I’ll kill you using the weapon that I used to commit my sin, but since that you use it, I’ll kill you with something else,” They were then noticed Rakion stood up with his human form back.

“Harlion, Ortla, both of you are guilty of causing my life to go ruined like this for the past days. Still, if you two wants to fight each other, I am more than glad to off Harlion first, you fucking bastard!” Rakion took out a double platinum sapphire wand and pointed it at Harlion.

“See? I’ll pay may debts to you later on, Rakion. Let’s kick this guy’s ass into oblivion, shall we?”Ortla launched his titanium sword blade at Harlion as if it was a rocket. Rakion jumped and stepped onto it while attaching a sword hilt at it and a laser blade was formed extending out from another end of the wand. Harlion giggled at Rakion’s pseudo sword weapon he was holding before kick the sword blade.

“Of course! This mission cannot end with failure,” Rakion jumped and launched a crescent slash wave at Harlion, but it was reflected before bicycle kicked at Ortla. He quickly turned around and launched one again at Harlion, only to be kicked back at him without even turning around. They punched the slash waves back at Harlion, but he jumped both clashed and disappeared.

“This is what I really want. Harlion, you will not escape here, ever!” Ortla and Rakion stabbed their weapons onto the ground and slash waves were launched from the ground upwards towards Harlion. When they reached close to him, he laughed manically while the slash waves were absorbed and a white colored sword was slowly forming above him while he was floating midair.

“I won’t escape, because you’ll beg me for allowing you two to escape!” The sword was then flashed, blinding both of them while the slash waves were reflected back at them. They quickly blocked the slash waves using skin tight barrier, but when they recovered from the blind a crescent slash wave broke their barriers each, but luckily it disappeared too.

“I guess you didn’t quite achieve what you have said, but I must commend you that you managed to get close,” Ortla reattached his ergnisis and threw it in reverse at Harlion. Harlion turned around while holding his white colored sword. He swung his sword and launched a large slash wave at them, knocking the ergnisis away, but the sword turned green and Harlion soon became weak and he fell onto the ground, losing his grip on his sword. At the meantime, outside of the monument,

“Please be safe, Rakion. We have much to do after this,” Mifrent was crying while slaying hollows using her gisarpt. This is not going to be smooth for Rakion and Ortla….
Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-RAKSA(Chapter 27-Deranging Heart)

“Rakion…are you all right?” Mifrent looked upon his chained, unconscious body. Black flames were seen on the chains tying his hands and feet. “Rakion, answer me!”

“Uuuugh….” Rakion woke up, but he felt very weak. “Mifrent…kill me…Harlion is…using my body…for the final blast….”

“What?” Mifrent was extremely shocked by his words. “Don’t lie to me!”

“Can’t you…see the…black flames?” He tried to shout, but his weak body prevented him from doing so.

“That’s…I…can’t bring myself to do it….” Mifrent took out a platinum rapier. “But if that’s the case…I’m sorry,” The rapier was emitting a white glow before the dark surrounding was lighten up. Just when she thought she killed him and ended everything, Rakion screamed and when the light dissipated,

“Mifrent, I need to ask you a few questions,” Rakion was freed from his chains of binding and landed on the ground. “You actually wanted to use me for some free fixes of your weapons, at least at first?”

“Yes. I’m very sorry for this,”

“I understand that. After all, the guild people asked me about this often too. Then, you did love me out of pity, right?”

“….” Mifrent couldn’t answer that question at first. Then, she suddenly cried. “The day I started to love you is the day you slaughtered El Siegh and felt too tired to even move when you reached our house. Remember how we cuddled on your bed and saying, ‘It’s a good thing that I have someone to went back to’?” Her answer made him very angry. His body was engulf in black flames.

“Why? Why?” Black crows dived down to Mifrent, but a tornado above her head blew them all away. She slowly walked towards him while deflecting away all attacks and spells directed at him.

“Calm down, Rakion. After I rescued you from Harlion, we’ll live together again happily, right?” Mifrent hugged him while emitting pink glow. He fell asleep while his black flames were dissipated. She noticed his smile and tried to teleport out, but she could not. Rakion was then teleported himself away from her.

“It’s me, Harlion. I expected this to happen, so I took over his body by putting my soul into the mercury crystal embedded in his body. I can’t imagine that you have such powers. You are certainly not normal,” Rakion wore a pair of platinum sword claw gloves. “With his battle data, I can defeat you easily,”

“Don’t be that confident. It is you whom I fight, Harlion, not Rakion!” She wore the same equipment and stared at Rakion angrily. Then, a mirror suddenly appeared in front of them.

“Harlion, if you think you gained control over me completely, I don’t think so, even if I risk being a hollow forever!” The mirror broke into pieces and reformed into a glass made hollow. “Mifrent, let’s thrash this bastard out of my original body forever!” It took out a custom made platinum sword, which its hilt was decorated with sky blue spearmint leaves.

“Rakion…okay, as you wish, my dear,” Mifrent switched to a similar sword, except that hers was decorated with pink colored peppermint leaves instead.

“What a lovely couple we have here. But you’ll fight me as Rakion’s best fighting data ever!” Rakion dashed towards them while launching slash waves in high speed. Mifrent stabbed the ground and emitted shockwaves on the ground, trying to cause vibrations which will trip him. He jumped over them and launched another set of slash waves at them.

“Data itself is nothing but data. What makes the data good is its execution. You are not good enough at that,” The hollow stabbed the ground and tornadoes formed on the ground blew the slash waves launched before Rakion jumped upwards straight at the slash wave launched after he jumped. “Don’t forget that I still have that data of ‘yours’ and I can counter every single word of it,”

“Don’t be overconfident. I can fill those loopholes with my personal ones!” Rakion spun himself with his hands stretched in front of him, forming a tornado which emitted slash waves from its center. Both launched slash waves to stop him, but instead of hitting the tornado they were blocked by emitted slash waves instead.

“How about this?” They threw their swords and turned into a hawk and an eagle which flew at sonic speed, crushing emitted slash waves and cut through Rakion. The tornado was then disappeared as Rakion was injured and fell down onto the ground. The hawk and eagle, however hit the ceiling and disappeared. The swords were stabbed onto the ceiling which could not be teleported back to their hands.

“Let’s switch to this, shall we?” Mifrent took out a titanium anchor and threw it at Rakion. A spherical barrier surrounded him and repelled the anchor back at them.

“Sure. As you wish, my dear,” The hollow took out a titanium chain with a hook on its end and threw it at the anchor. It then swung the chain and threw the anchor back at him.
